Report - Prostate Support Group Meeting To Get To Know Therapists
Wednesday 4th March, 6.30pm
I attended the meeting at the Royal Surrey County Hospital Post Graduate Centre, and met Peter the leader who seemed very pleasant and welcoming. I also met David another member of the team, who also made me feel very welcome. Around 15 people attended and I spent the entire evening in conversation with different individuals from the Guildford Prostate Group. So much so I hardly had a moment spare. People's concerns ranged from their ongoing cancer treatment, wanting some way of knowing they were not going to get cancer again, finding that they had changed in themselves and getting used to their new self, to the realisation they would like to explore the possibility of working on things that they had not talked to anyone about, as the cancer diagnosis had brought up many issues, feelings and forgotton about memories.
I mentioned Meta-Medicine to them, to enlighten them on the new scientific evidence coming out,
that is that our bodies create physical symptoms for a good reason and not a bad one.
Meaning our bodies react to emotions much quicker than we thought and to a much greater extent,
and that as quickly as cancer comes it can go, as has been proven by patients I have had myself,
and many other documented cases, even people who have written books like Louise L Hay and
Brandon Bays. Doctors don't like to talk about this much, as it is not something that is
wide public knowlegde, as so far cancer has been made out by the medical, public and
charity press to be something that needs to be killed, to be fought, and you may have seen
headlines like, 'fight cancer' etc on charity and other agency advertising. My question is
have we created this cancer as something that is evil and is bad for us?
Is this evil cancer all in our minds?
Yes of course people die when they have cancer, but do we truly know if they are
dying because of the cancer, or too much radiotherapy? or too much chemotherapy?
I am not sure we know enough yet to give these answers. Our bodies
can heal very quickly, including getting rid of basketball sized cancer, ("cell growth's") as I
prefer to call them. Brandon Bays proved that, and many other cancer patients have too.
There was a genuine scietific study done in Germany using 100 patients who had cancer, and they gave
half chemotherapy and half none, the actual scietific results showed that the patients
who had chemotherapy faired worse than those that did not. Much food for thought.
