I have been practising Hypnotherapy, Time-Line Therapy, NLP and EFT for 4 years now and am now working with cancer patients at the Fountain Centre in Guildford, based in the Royal Surrey County Hospital, to help relieve trauma, depression, improve confidence, increase relaxation, and restore some measure of normality in peoples lives after being diagnosed with cancer, and to help cancer sufferers get through treatment. I work with patients with all forms of cancer and believe strongly that Hypnotherapy and Time-Line Therapy can have a dramatic bearing on the positive outcome of cancer treatment.

I specialise with people who have cancer, Depression, ME and CFS, as well as with people who have symptoms of trauma and abuse, relationship problems, in order to help them improve their state of health and their quality of life.

I became interested in Hypnotherapy particularly during a live demonstration, when I saw the benefits of relaxation on a patient, and how effective it was at removing their negative emotions.


Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy works by working with the unconscious mind. The unconscious mind is the same mind as your conscious mind except that your unconscious mind is aware of everything, and the conscious mind filters out things in order that we can do things, and react quickly enough. If we used our unconscious minds all the time, we would be overloaded with information and not be able to react to events quickly enough in order to be effective. Our conscious minds filter out unwanted information, so that we can deal with situations and events.

Typically, we filter out plus or minus 2 from 7 pieces of information at any one time. Some people find that they can focus on more than 7 things at any one time, other people, much less, as little as 1 thing at a time, or 2 things. The unconscious is a bit like night time sleep, or getting on a bus or train and realising only just in time or to late that you have arrived at your destination, I call this a bus or train trance. The conscious is the mind we use during the day time. By using a state of sleep, trance, or hypnosis, we can help resolve negative emotions very quickly and return out bodies to an improved state of health.

Hypnotherapy sessions enable you to transport yourself into the unconscious mind, or sleep state, and during this state you can ask your unconscious mind to resolve issues, fears, and negative emotions that you may have.


Time-Line Therapy

Time-Line Therapy works similarly to Hypnotherapy however working along the memory line or Time-Line, so a client can instantaneously hop between one memory event and another, from past to future, future to past, from before a shock or trauma event to after a shock or trauma event. Time-Line Therapy allows a clean map of the world if you like to be brought forward from before negative emotions occured to clear unwanted negative emotions which appear after the event. Time-Line Therapy is very quick, and highly effective. Time-Line Therapy can be done with most people, however there are some who find it difficult to quiet their minds, and so I do a test fist to see if you can go into your Time-Line. The test is simple, easy, and painless.
